General Information
Objectives:
The Gulf Coast Baptist College is a Bible and Church Training institution established in 1983 under the ownership and direction of First Missionary Baptist Church of Pensacola, Florida. The purpose is not to make preachers, but to train people as ministers, missionaries, and Christian workers.
It is not the purpose of the Gulf Coast Baptist College to teach secular courses. Those courses taught that are not Bible-related are all of a practical nature and are offered to assist the Christian worker in his or her field of labor.
Sponsorship/Co-sponsorship:
The Gulf Coast Baptist College is now under the direction of The Schillinger Road Baptist Church, Mobile, Alabama. New trustees have been added to make the decisions pertaining to the material assets of the Gulf Coast Baptist College. Churches throughout the American Baptist Association and interested parties help to finance the Institute with offerings and gifts. The school and her administrators are always willing to listen to the wise counsel of other churches and their elders.
All legal documents pertaining to G.C.B.C must be signed and approved by the trustees of Gulf Coast Baptist College, Mobile, Alabama.

Affiliations:
The Gulf Coast Baptist College offers two departments of Biblical studies. The Theology degree programs are designed for ministerial students, and the Christian Educational programs are designed for non-ministerial students. The Gulf Coast Baptist College has been authorized to operate as set forth in Chapter 246.083, Florida Statutes by the State Board of Independent Colleges and Universities.
